Kodak has officially the Kodak Easyshare V570, the first dual-lens digital camera. Why two lenses?

The V570 gives you both a ultra-wide angel lense and a 5x optical zoom in one compact body.

While owners of SLRs were previously able to attach an ultra-wide angle lens, compact cameras lacked this. By going with the unique two lens design, the V570 was able to bring ultra-wide lenses to compact cameras.

The EasyShare V570 will also feature a 2.5″ LCD screen, 32 megs of interal memory with an SD card slot, twenty-two scene modes plus three color modes, KODAK Color Science, and distortion correction.

The Kodak EasyShare V570 zoom digital camera with Photo Frame Dock 2 will be available worldwide beginning later this month for $399.
