How would you like to have a cell phone plan that offers you 500 minute at $14.99/month? I think we all would, but until then you’ll just have to pick up the next best thing: the Vonage F1000 WiFi travel anywhere phone. Heading to Europe? Just pack the F1000 (battery can provide up to 5 hours of continuous talk time) locate a WiFi connection, and you can be making calls back home for the same price no matter where you are. Vonage doesn’t intend to replace the mobile phone with this product, but hopes to supplement those sometimes vital ‘talk time’ minutes.
Sure the phone is hideous looking, but it does offer 200 phone book entries, three-way calling capability, call waiting, caller ID, voicemail, repeat dial-on-busy, and call block.
