The Thumbdrive Car FM Stereo Transmitter from Sewell let’s you turn any USB Flash Drive (aka thumbdrive) into a full-fledged in-car MP3 player.
The FM Transmitter plugs into your cigarette lighter / DC power outlet in your car for its power. Choose the FM station via the FM channel selector and use the controls on the front of the unit to pick your track.
The device also has the ability to power any USB MP3 player, including the iPod. You can also plug in any audio source via the 1/8″ audio jack, so this guy can double as an FM transmitter / charger for your iPod.
For $36.95, I’d say this is a pretty nifty gadget. Shame there’s no LCD to show you the track that’s playing.

I wonder if I can have some thing similar to this, but allow me to use battery or power supply. I mean, it’s really cool to play MP3 which your thumbdrive, isn’t it? I have 1GB USB, and I don’t know what to do with it, so I want to turn it into a MP3 player, w/o using the Car Cig. Lighter.
Any feedback plz send to Esente@gmail.com Thanks!
