Nokia unveiled its 6234 Vodafone phone today (that’s a mouthful). The 6234 features a high rez 2 megapixel camera, digital music player with stereo speakers supported by microSD memory, and a number of other features including Bluetooth. The phone is reported to have a 4 hour talk time on a GSM network (3 hours on a WCDMA) and up to 2 weeks standby time (I’ll believe that when I see it).

The 6234 is intended for Vodafone customers, but does support a wide array of frequencies so portability to the US shouldn’t be a problem. Available Q1 of 2006; no word on price.
