TiVo, a device known for its ability to allow you to skip commercials, is soon going to give you the ability to watch commercials.
Yeah, you read that right.
TiVo announced that it will create a technology that will allow you to search for specific commercials by keyword or category. The technology is expected to debut in early 2006.
It’s nice to see TiVo attempting to find a way to creatively get users to watch commercials. No longer forcing us to watch them during shows. If people continue to skip commercials, how will the networks make their advertising dollars? And more importantly, how will they continue to make shows?
