Mobileburn has a review of the recently released Sprint PPC-6700.

In short, Mobileburn found the device a bit on the porky side weighing in at 6.7oz (according to them this is a tad heavier then Sprint claims). Mobileburn liked the device sturdiness, extra CPU power and overall design. The biggest draw back found was Sprint’s spotty coverage – they recommend checking coverage before making this investment.

The PPC-6700 is currently available for $449.99 with a $150 instant rebate.

I fell in love with this phone when a customer of mine let me check it out for 30 min or so one day. Being a former Treo 650 user ( loved it but had a lot of problems after the first year and gave it up for a flip phone) this phone was in the works for me in a day or two after using the ppc 6700. This phone is the bomb and I can’t wait to get it in the mail hopefully tomorrow. It will be nice to be back in the saddle again and from the reviews I read this phone is better by far then the 650.
