Sony PSP Giga Pack announced

Sony announced a new combo pack for their Playstation Portable (PSP) just in time for the upcoming holiday season. The new pack, known as the PSP Giga Pack, will feature the PSP system (still only in black), a 1GB Memory Stick PR0 Duo, battery pack, AC adaptor, USB Cable, and a PSP Stand. The combo pack will debut for $299.
The PSP will ship with version 2.0 of the firmware, not the new 2.5 version.
What can you did with a gig of memory on the PSP? Well you’ll get 30 hours of music, 4 hours of video, and 360 5 megapixel photos.
So what are you waiting for? Me? A compelling reason to buy this expensive gameboy. Though that latest LocationFree PSP stuff makes it tempting.

PSP is a great general media platform. Unfortunately they tried to “push Beta” with their UMD movies while (at least I heard) is faltering. Still a great system. Now if it cost just a wee bit less….

My body might be old (28), but I’m still young in my heart, and hopefully this will be my state until the black day.
By the way, how many books can you read on the NANO or IPOD?
I leave in a metropolis like Shanghai, and here a PSP is a way of life, escaping the boring hours spent in the tube or bus, which before where lost by “army sleeping”.
This way I do make something constructive with the hours of my life, that usually will be lost (having lots of fun).
If you don’t want to get a mobile game console, enjoy your mobile phone.
“Get it? PSP…..Mobile Phone? There’s an army like me that decided that a cheap small mobile is a very good complement to the PSP.
Please don’t spoil it for others, there is a army like me in this world.

P.S: Guys take my advice, don’t show it to your girlfriends or wifes, they will take ownership in no time (took her 12 hours).
I think now, that I will have to buy another one (for me).
(And when I think back that she she comment when I bought it… “why I have to spend money on such a piece of junk”)
Now I have to borrow it from her, Lol and I bought it.
Maybe now i’ll get one of these.
