Samsung released its Korean only SPH-4000. The phone truly does have some weird, but somewhat useful features.

First off it can sense gesture. What’s that mean? Move the phone a certain direction and you activate your MP3 playback. You can apparently activate (don’t know about control) some games as well. The SPH-4000 can also monitor distance walked, and includes a compass as well. Ideal for the outdoorsmen, but I don’t know too many of those into electronics. The phone can even tell temperature – this is something I have been dieing (well maybe not dieing, but wanted) for in all my phones. It takes picture as well, but that is surely over shadowed by its other abilities.

Available in Korea only for about $400.
