Nokia unveiled its N92 TV phone at today’s Nokia Mobility Conference 2005 (looks kind of like Samsung’s most recent device).
According to Nokia, the N92 is “the world’s first mobile device with a built-in DVB-H receiverâ€?. DVB-H receiver, huh? Basically it lets you watch and record live TV on your cell phone. DVB-H is the leading standard for mobile-TV at a reasonable cost.
The Nokia N92 allows users to subscribe to channels, set program reminders, create personal channel lists, and even access interactive TV services. Its 2.8 anti-glare screen supports 16 million colors to ensure accurate color reproduction.
Putting all that aside, the phone is ultra cool looking and will be a sure sought after device.
UPDATE: THe N92 should be available mid 2006 in the EU.
