Wi-Fi is now in the dictionary

Wi-Fi is now mainstream enough of a term to make it into the dictionary. The official definition:

abbreviation – Wireless Fidelity, a group of technical standards enabling the transmission of data over wireless networks.
verb – convert or adapt for Wireless Fidelity compatibility : what type of electronics will be immune from being Wi-Fied?

As nice as it is to see Wi-Fi in the dictionary, it’s even nicer to see it there as a verb. Gonna go Wi-Fi it from the couch.

Yeah I’m aware that’s not their definition of Wi-Fi as a verb. It’s mine.
