Cell Phones — 26 October 2005
Sometime later this year (in Germany, not sure on US launch) Tmobile will be replacing its MDA III (we never saw) with the MDA Vario. The phone is actually pretty neat looking as it offers a QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, GPRS, and EDGE access. The Vario does mimic a similar form factor of Tmobile’s Sidekick, but has a much more phone like appeal.
The device will sport a 240 x 320 pixel display and will rotate its screen to landscape mode when browsing (Opera’s mobile browser), messaging, etc. It will run Windows Mobile 5.0 and support quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz frequencies. Unfortunately, the device will only support slower WiFi (802.11b), but its camera is 1.3 megapixels.
No word on price as of yet.

That's a lot of pixels! They should go nicely with the new lenses.
