Sony Ericsson W900 Walkman Phone Released
Sony Ericsson has released their fourth music phone today, the W900. The phone will feature 470 MB of user space and can be increased by 2GB using its Memory Stick PR0 Duo card. By using the 2 gig memory stick, users should be able to cram in over 1000 songs. Take that ROKR.
The music player will be using the Sony Walkman brand name. It will support MP3, AAC or AAC+, MIDI, WAV and XMF files.
The phone will also feature:
- a 2 megapixel, autofocus camera with flash
- video call camera
- Bluetooth and infrared connectivity
The phone will be for UMTS (a variation of the 3G service) and come in two varieties:
- W900i Dual mode UMTS (2100MHz) – GPRS 900/1800/1900 for Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa
- W900c Dual mode UMTS (2100MHz) – GPRS 900/1800/1900 for Mainland China
We’ll just have to wait and see if this rockin’ phone is hitting the states.
