Today Memorex announces its newest USB 2.0 flash drive with TravelDrive ID technology. Just what is TravelDrive ID technology? It’s a 13 character customizable LCD. Just like we were able to label CDs and disks, we’re now able to label flash drives thanks to this innovative little idea.

Alright, so pretty neat. But if all it did was accomplish the tasks of a $0.05 label, you wouldn’t be impressed. TravelDrive ID will also show you how much space you have left on the drive and whether the flash drive is mounted on your computer.

Pretty cool if you have a few drives and need to find the right one.
