The idea of a ‘Visualizer’ for your favorite DAP (most likely iPod for many) seems a little silly to me right now, but I am sure where there’s an iPod, there’s a market. The device, called the Music Player Television (MPTV) connects to your TV via RCA (aka composite in). You simply just plug your player into the device and let the music play. The MPTV then visualizes the bump in your beat and get this, even play the audio through your TV’s speakers (wow, I am floored). According the manufacture, Japan’s Takara, you will get a few themes at initial purchase and be able to eventually download additional themes.
The device is slated for a January or February release in Japan, and should sport a $34 price tag. Expect a US release soon after.
