It looks like the Apple iPod Video is going to make it. Despite a lot of doubt that consumers would purchase video content for Apple’s new video-based iPod player, it turns about people do. In fact, people bought a lot. One million videos.
Remember that Apple just launched the iPod Video a few weeks ago. Looks like Apple’s CEO, Steve Jobs, is already pretty psyched:
Selling 1 million videos in less than 20 days strongly suggests there is a market for legal video downloads. Our next challenge is to broaden our content offerings, so that customers can enjoy watching more videos on their computers and new iPods.
