In GM’s endless search to capitalize on the popularity of the Hummer brand, they decided it would be a good idea to introduce a Hummer laptop. As one might expect, the laptop is big, ugly and probably consumes more power than any other laptop. This overpriced machine is a result of a 3-year exclusive deal between Hummer and Itronix and the laptop is being billed as ‘semi-ruggedized’ (sort of like semi-off-road). What that means is that it can withstand a drop from 30 inches onto two layers of plywood over concrete. (Who holds their laptop 30 inches above plywood?).

The only ‘semi-cool’, ‘semi-unique’ feature about this new product is that it has built in GPS.

The laptop will come in black and silver with yellow, red or pewter-gray trim and will start at $2,988.
