A Russian design firm called Art. Lebedev. has designed a keyboard that’s keys are filled with OLEDs (organic light emitting diodes). Essentially the user can transform the keys on the keyboard to represent any character, icon – essentially whatever you like. Prefer the European keyboard layout, no problem. Wanna write home to native China, no problem. The photos of the device even show the ability to display icons. According to the firms founder, Artemy Lebedev, they will design an app to accompany the keyboard which will allow you to assign whatever you’d like to the keys. The OLED keys are complemented by an aluminum-wrap finish. Expect the price to run in the $200 to $300 range.
